Julie turned around so that she looked right into my eyes. Her face was red now too. “Tabitha, what do you mean?” she asked me. She didn’t even blink. When I didn’t answer she spoke again, “I know I’m all red. All humans are supposed to be red, but they changed themselves long ago. The Marshian community was outraged, but could do nothing about it. Now we must change you all back!”
