Hypothetically, I just got a baby kitten. She is a Tabby and has an orange coat with black stripes and a white belly and white feet and a bit of white on her face. What do you think I should name her? Post a comment to give me ideas for my imaginary feline friend. Thank you!
Use compact fluorescent lightbulbs instead of incandescent ones. You would find these energy-efficient lightlulbs at stores such as Canadian Tire or Safeway. Remember, save the Earth, you live on it!

“Oh!” I cried, “What on Earth, I mean Mars, happened to your arm?!” “What are you talking about?” she asked roboticly. “Look at your arm!” I screamed. Julie turned around so that she looked right into my eyes. Her face was red now too. “Tabitha, what do you mean?” she asked me. She didn’t even blink. When I didn’t answer she spoke again, “I know I’m all red. All humans are supposed to be red, but they changed themselves long ago. The Marshian community was outraged, but could do nothing about it. Now we must change you all back!”

We gasped. “Where are we?” I asked. “I don’t know.” Julie replied, staring at the vast, red land. “Noting that there are craters and that the ground is red, I think we’re on Mars!” She said. I was stunned. Julie has always had a very small imaginitive mind, so to think of her imagining we were on Mars was very unusual. As it turned out, we really were on Mars. Julie kept staring forward as if under a hopnosis spell. I waved my hand in front of her face, but Julie remained transfixed. “What are you looking at?’ I asked, getting annoyed at Julie, pretending she was an hypnotized. Julie raised an arm and pointed in front of us. Her whole arm was red.

Unfortunately, my cat, Rainbow, has matted fur. She is getting too fat to lick the fur on her back. Whatever we’re doing is working though. If you have any ideas on how to help us help her, please leave a comment about it. Thank you. Marshmallow (Marshi) is doing great! She does like to bite my dad’s foot though. (I guess it tastes good.) Marshi usually dozes off in my loft bed. She really likes it up there. Marshi is fit. She runs around the house like a rocket almost everyday. Rainbow doesn’t run like that, but she does walk around the house. Hopefully we can fix her mats and get her to loose some weight! Once we get the mats out, we plan to give her a bath. I hope she’s not scared when she gets wet. Don’t forget to leave a comment if you know how to help us get her mats out.

“Hurry, up Tabitha! We’re going to be late for school!” I heard my 14-year-old sister, Julie’s voice calling me. “It’s only 7:54. Why do we have to get up?” I asked, half asleep. “Because,” she replied with attitude, “it’s Saturday! Tricked you! Ha ha ha! How could you fall for that again?” Julie fell on the floor laughing. “You didn’t trick me!” I said stubbornly, “I knew it was Saturday!” “You so did not!” she said. “Did too!” “Did not” “Did too!” “What’s with all the arguing?” asked our mother, coming up the stairs. “Arguing?” I asked, “We weren’t arguing.” I lied. “I heard shouting.” said my mother and put on her “don’t-lie-to-me-again” look. “Why were you arguing?” she asked seriously. “Julie tricked me into thinking that it was a school day and I knew it was Saturday.” I replied honestly. “But it’s Wednesday.” said Mother. “What?!” Julie and I asked at the same time. “Just joking.” laughed Mother and we laughed too. “It’s Monday.” “Oh no!” moaned Julie. “was supposed to finish my essay last night! Oh, Mrs. Newhanger is going to kill me!” I laughed at Julie quickly, but Mother’s eyes stopped me. “Well, you’ll have to tell Mrs. Newhanger the truth.” said Mother, “I’m surprised at you, not doing your homework. You didn’t even tell me that you had to do an essay. Both of you get dressed and have your breakfast. It’s 8:09 already.” After we ate breakfast, we walked out the door and found ourselves on a red, crater-covered land.

There is another cat in the house! Her name is Marshmallow. (See picture below.) As you can see, Marshmallow has only two colours. She is white and peach. She is four years old. Her birthday is on May 1st. Sometimes she gets very crazy. She likes to run around the house very fast. She sometimes likes to wake my mom up really early or steal her glasses. She can also climb a ladder! She can be a scratch in the butt at times, but she can also be really sweet and curl up by your legs when you sleep.
