We gasped. “Where are we?” I asked. “I don’t know.” Julie replied, staring at the vast, red land. “Noting that there are craters and that the ground is red, I think we’re on Mars!” She said. I was stunned. Julie has always had a very small imaginitive mind, so to think of her imagining we were on Mars was very unusual. As it turned out, we really were on Mars. Julie kept staring forward as if under a hopnosis spell. I waved my hand in front of her face, but Julie remained transfixed. “What are you looking at?’ I asked, getting annoyed at Julie, pretending she was an hypnotized. Julie raised an arm and pointed in front of us. Her whole arm was red.
